  • the EchoLearn website
  • contact by email related to the website

3. Website access and server log files

When you access this website, technical data is processed automatically in order to deliver the website securely and reliably.

This may include:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • requested URL
  • referrer URL, if your browser sends it
  • browser and operating system information
  • response status and transferred data volume

This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable, and technically correct operation of the website.

We do not use this data to identify you personally unless this is necessary for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

4. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

At the time of this version:

  • the public landing pages use our privacy-friendly analytics system for visit measurement
  • the analytics system does not use cookies on this site
  • the website does not use advertising cookies
  • the tracker respects the site’s do-not-track setting

The website may store a local theme preference in your browser storage if you actively switch between light mode and dark mode. This setting is used only to remember your visual preference on your device.

If you contact us by email about the website or the project, we process the data you send to us, for example:

The website is intended to be hosted on server infrastructure located in Germany.

At the time of this version, the analytics system is intentionally activated on the public landing pages only. The legal and informational pages do not include the tracker. If external processors or service providers are added later, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as long as legal retention obligations apply.

In particular:

  • email inquiries are retained as long as necessary to process and document the communication
  • technical log data is retained only as long as necessary for secure and reliable operation

If you have an EchoLearn account in the mobile app, you can start the account deletion flow from the app’s Settings area.

This web page also provides the deletion request fallback if you prefer to contact us directly.

10. No obligation to provide website data

You are not legally required to provide personal data in order to visit the public website. However, some processing of technical data is necessary to deliver the website.

If you contact us by email, you provide the data needed for us to answer your inquiry.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy policy if the website or the related data processing changes.
